| While orthopaedic surgeons are qualified to perform surgery as the best treatment for certain problems, surgery is usually considered a last resort! Depending upon the problem, treatments may include ergonomic aids to prevent aggravation of the problem, braces or splints, medication, physical therapy and casting fractures. Many of our patients suffer from problems which occur gradually. Just because you have been suffering from pain for what may seem like forever, does not mean you have to continue to suffer! Understanding your problem with the help of an expert is the first step to relief.
